Important: To run GOCAD Suite 2.5.0 (or later) on Windows 64, you must upgrade your FLEXlm license server to version 11.3. For all other platforms, we strongly recommand that you upgrade your license server to version 11.3 (if not already done). See GOCAD License Server 11.3 for more details.

Important: if you are installing GOCAD Suite on a server in a Windows environment, you must ensure that the necesary runtime library Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistribuable Package is installed on each local computer (client) from which the program will be run. This is not required if you are installing and running GOCAD Suite 2.5.0 on the same computer because the runtime library for your environment is installed automatically with the suite. For instructions to configure GOCAD Suite to run from a shared location on Windows, please refer to the Installation Guide.

Platform specific notes:

GOCAD Suite 2.5.0 is no longer available on these platforms: SGI IRIX (32-bits and 64-bits), Sun Solaris (32-bits), Red Hat Entreprise Linux (Intel Itanium)

GOCAD Suite 2.5.0 is not officially supported on Microsoft Windows Vista due to minor usability and deployment issues. Official Vista supported will be provided for our next bug fix release.
